ABOUT US
OUR STORY
In early 2015 I was still living in South Africa where I was born and raised yet, now I was out of high school and looking for what came next. My mom, who is a true Texan, was of course completely unbiased in saying Texas was the place to go for university. With little other direction at the time I decided to make the move and somehow found myself in College Station at Texas A&M. Coming from a small high school of 550 students to the massive world of Aggieland, I was in over my head yet I enjoyed every moment of it.

With a passion for creative media and a joy for wildlife and fisheries, I slowly found my way through college and looked for anything that would get me more of those. I soon found drones and my mind was blown. I started off with a classic DJI Mavic Pro and loved the steady and smooth eagle-like perspective on the world I now had. Oh, but it kept going. I quickly discovered FPV drones and I had no idea how wild and complex this new chapter of drones would be. Yet despite the steep learning curve, the complete freedom of flight and acrobatics these drones provided was impossible any other way and I wanted it bad. Over the years I have spent more time than I'd think possible in this wild and beautiful hobby.

In 2017 I found the Woman who would become my wife, a Texas girl of course, and she has pushed me and lifted me up every step of the way. With my time spent with drones and the quickly emerging market of drone media, we decided to make the jump and start up Lionheart Drone Tours in 2024.
Everything we do is based on the foundation of our faith in Jesus and we are seeking more than just the bottom line. We are passionate about what we do and want to do it right every time and do it in a way that glorifies God. I encourage you to read our values based on biblical principles in the section below and know that regardless of whether you share our faith you can trust our values and morals to be firmly set and unwavering.
